Did you wave at us? Thanks to everyone who came out to the 2008 Raleigh Christmas Parade, despite weather that was cold. Really cold. Our Edward McKay marchers assured us that despite the weather, they had a good time and got to meet a lot of friendly folks.
In addition to getting out and about there’s a lot going on back at the store too. Have you checked out our calendar lately? Even as we’re winding down 2008, we’re coming up with some great ideas for workshops, classes, and performances in 2009.
2008 was a great year for us as we moved into our new space and made room for performances by local artists, animal rescue events, and a variety of classes including beading, sign language, and … bellydancing? You bet! As you can see by the picture bellydancing and a free book shelf go very nicely together.
