On Saturday, March 14th, 2009, Edward McKay Used Books and More in Fayetteville hosted local author Dr. Edward Vaughn. Many people came in just to see Dr. Vaughn, who has written multiple books set in and around the Cumberland County area.

Dr. Vaughn’s books include The Tybee Series (Tybee: A Fictional Novel, Tybee II: The Abduction, Tybee III: For the Love of Money, Tybee IV: Why The Little Children?, Tybee V: Island Terror, and Tybee VI: Pretty Little Princess) and The Cumberland County Series (including Cumberland County and The Evil That Men Do)

The Fayetteville Edward McKay’s is HIRING!31 Mar

Do you like books, movies, music, video games and more? Are you looking for a fun, demanding full-time job where you can learn new things and interact with the public? Do you have some college experience? Have you ever worked at a bookstore, record store, video game store or library? Then a job at Edward McKay Used Books and More might be for you!

We are looking for candidates with retail bookstore, record store or similar experience to fill two full-time spots. Some college and prior retail experience are required, and management experience is a definite plus. Our store is open from 9am to 9pm Monday through Saturday and 12pm to 6pm on Sundays We want someone with the flexibility to work any of those hours. Some nights and weekends are required. Previous applicants need not re-apply.

Edward McKay’s is now hiring for several slots in Fayetteville, N.C. We would prefer to hire people with bookstore, record store, video store, or game store experience, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

We currently hiring for full-time positions. We are not accepting part-time applications. Weekend work is required for all staff members (non-negotionable), but we can be moderately flexible on other shifts.
