Thanks to everyone who came to our Schnauzer adoption event earlier this month. Participants both four-footed and two-footed had a great time. Thanks to Gourmutts Bakery for the dog treats! And remember, the Raleigh store will be having more dog rescue events in the future (not to mention free classes and events) so keep an eye on the calendar at the bottom of our store page.
Hey, the events keep on coming in the Raleigh store. Take a look at a few of our new upcoming happenings:
Sat Nov 1st: local author Michael E. Vaughn will do a reading at the store from his new book Pendulum Swing at 4pm. His website is http://www.make-everything-valuable.com/. We will have copies of his books available for sale and customers will have an opportunity to speak with him, ask questions, and get autographs.
Wed Nov. 5th: Free beading class with Nita at 6pm. People need to bring their own beads and some tools.
Sat Nov. 22nd: Bellydancing Show at 6:30pm! A class will be announced at a later date.

Well, actually, the dogs are coming HERE… we’re proud to be sponsoring two rescue events over the next two months.
On October 18 from 11am – 3pm, come visit some lovely people and lovely animals! The great folks at NCschnauzers.org are helping us put on an event to help connect rescue schnauzers and great homes. Gourmutts Bakery will be providing a doggie cake — all you need to bring is love.
Schnauzers not your style? Check us out on Saturday, November 15th from 12-3 for the NC Rottweiler Rescue Adoption Event. Gourmutts Bakery ( http://www.gourmuttsbakery.com/) will be on the scene with more doggie goodies!
