The Greensboro store boasts a diverse book selection with a rapid turnover. We have one of the best selections of reading titles in the state of North Carolina. You may not find the best selection if you are a collector of rare books, but we absolutely shine in the eyes of book lovers who view used bookstores as an all-you-can-handle buffet. We are a store for people who use their books.
Of course, books aren’t our only passion. We also carry a wide variety of films, ranging from Disney favorites to chick flicks to slasher films. Boasting a combined DVD and VHS inventory of over 10,000 titles, you would be hard pressed not to find that hot new release or an old favorite you haven’t seen in awhile. If blockbusters aren’t really your style, we also have more eclectic fare, ranging from artsy and avant-garde cinema to hard-to-find B-movies to anime. Why rent a movie when you could buy it for less?
Music? Yeah, we got music. Thousands of CDs ranging over every genre you can think of-Classical to R&B, Adult Contemporary to Zydeco, New Age to indie rock, classic Country to old school hip-hop. Our Greensboro location now carries Vinyl, featuring almost anything from the collectible to the out-of-print to the just plain weird. We also carry used iPods from full-size models down to the Shuffle. And you’ll hear a wide range of music played in the store, not just canned elevator tunes. You can also check out our bulletin boards, where local bands post upcoming shows.
Our Greensboro store is also a great place for students. We carry a wide range of textbooks not only for the local four year universities but also for the local technical schools. Just give us the author, title, and edition of the book you need and you may be able to get it much cheaper than your campus bookstore and without the hassle of ordering it online. We also carry a range of used graphing calculators for both university and high school students.
